From a single dead outlet to a 200-amp service change. If it carries current in Southern Oregon, it's on this list.

1

Panel upgrades & service changes

An older panel may not have the capacity for the way your home uses power today. We inspect when breakers trip frequently, lights dim as appliances start, or the system looks outdated — then tell you whether the right next step is a repair or an upgrade, and complete approved work to current code. 100A to 200A changes, meter bases, subpanels for shops and ADUs, and Federal Pacific or Zinsco replacement.

Troubleshooting & repair

Nuisance trips, dead outlets, burning smells, failed GFCI and AFCI devices. We find the actual fault rather than swapping parts until it stops — and we explain what we find in plain English so you can make the right decision for your property.

Generator installation

Power outages don't wait for a convenient time. We evaluate the existing electrical system, help you plan backup power around what the property actually needs to keep running, and connect it safely so it's ready when utility power is interrupted. Standby and portable, automatic or manual transfer.

Well pump service

No water or low pressure often points to an electrical fault. We inspect the power supply, controls, pressure switch, control box and pump operation to find the root cause. Some systems need a repair; others need parts or upgrades to improve reliability and meet code. Rural Jackson and Josephine County properties are a specialty.

EV charging

A Level 2 charger needs 240-volt power and a dedicated circuit — this is not a simple outlet swap. We evaluate your panel, confirm capacity, and install the right setup for your vehicle and your daily charging needs. If the service needs an upgrade, we walk you through the options clearly before you spend anything.

Lighting & Lutron systems

Flickering lights, buzzing switches and warm dimmers are not problems to ignore. We troubleshoot whether it's a loose connection, an overloaded circuit, an aging fixture or a dimmer compatibility problem — and we handle upgrades, smart dimmers, room-by-room control and Lutron systems programmed and commissioned, not just installed.

Whole-home surge protection

A power surge affects more than the devices plugged into one outlet. Unlike a basic power strip, a Type 2 device installed at the panel gives broader coverage across the whole property — appliances, HVAC equipment, well controls and electronics.

Three-phase distribution, lighting retrofits, equipment circuits and build-outs for Jackson County businesses. Scheduled around your hours, not ours.

05 / Straight answers

Before you call.

Why do my breakers keep tripping?
Usually one of three things: the circuit is genuinely overloaded, the wiring or a device on it has failed, or the breaker itself is worn out. A breaker that trips repeatedly is doing its job — it's telling you there's a fault. We trace the circuit, isolate the cause, and tell you what it'll take to fix it before we touch anything.
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. A Level 2 charger typically pulls 40–48 amps continuous, so it depends on your existing service size and what's already on it. We run a load calculation first — if your 200A service has headroom, we add the circuit. If you're on an older 100A panel, we'll price both options so you can decide before you buy the car.
Is whole-home surge protection worth it?
For most homes here, yes. A Type 2 surge protective device at the panel costs a fraction of one HVAC control board, well pump controller, or set of smart appliances. Rogue Valley homes on rural feeds see more transients than people expect.
Do you handle commercial electrical in Jackson County?
Yes — three-phase distribution, tenant improvements, lighting retrofits, equipment circuits and ongoing service calls for local businesses. We schedule around your operating hours where the work allows it.
What does a service call cost?
It depends on scope, and we don't guess. Estimates are free and in writing. Call and describe what's happening; we'll tell you what we'd need to look at and what the likely range is before we roll a truck.
Are you licensed and insured?
Licensed, bonded and insured as an Oregon electrical contractor. Our CCB number is in the footer and on every estimate — verify it any time at the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
